Experienced my first ever live M83 show last weekend at Urbanscapes.

The first time I’ve ever got introduced to this band was from Travis Rice’s documentary; The Art of Flight, that in-the-moment cinematic music that make everything twice as cooler when paired with.

Their music inspired me to learn and make videos as cool as the music. It’s around the same time when I heard The Naked and Famous – Young Blood too. (hopefully that day will come)

Fast forward a couple of years later, I get to watch them live. The live set was so good, so much better! So much feel with all that light works and epic musician showmanship. I’ve not really check out their latest Junk album before the show, so I’m not sure how it’ll turn out differently from their old album.

It turned out great! They played lots of their hit song from the previous album before introducing the new stuff.

Taste test was great! I really like their new album! Two of my favourites from Junk are Do It and Go! feat Mai Lan. Go check them if you haven’t, these guys are amazing!
