Here are some author profile video content that I’ve worked on and collaborated with the team in Mindvalley.
We tried a heroes journey story telling approach to familiarise the audience with the author and they personal stories that lead them to do what they do. The goal of these video pieces are to direct viewers from the cold audience to watch the free masterclass.
It was a whole lot fun making these authors/teachers look classy on video.
Each of these trailer content are also made in various versions with shorter length to work for facebook and instagram.
One fun fact was that the Superbrain video was put-to-test on social media as organic content as well and we have 3 times the engagement and views without boost on those post. From the organic spike, it has also improve sign up rates tremendous that indirectly reduce our ad spent while increasing sales.
Instead of filming new content during lockdown (when everyone was stuck indoors), we approach these batch of video in a lean method, revamping what we can on story and post production with existing content and patch the rest of the story flow with b-rolls and stock imagery.
Looking at the tremendous result, we’re looking forward to more full fledge approach in future creations.
